Our Community division handles not a lot of things, but it’s a division within our group where it basically looks after all the sites that offer community input. Recent examples include the recent expansion in Alfahosts to include a blog (again) and a wiki; and Helix bringing in the forum.
While many of the sites are actually part of other divisions, like Alfahosts being in the Services Division; our Community division is just an extention.
Welcome to the brand new Reawaken Media Blog, now integrated with the brand new Flux theme. If you previously read our blog, you would have known that we would also have Crystalline as part of our blogging themes. While we have not axed the Crystalline template, since it is still used on many blogs, including the Alfahosts blog; we have decided to stop creating the themes for this year, allowing us to focus more on other things.
To newbies, and for everyone else, the Crystalline themes were exclusive themes that we designed for all blogs. We are also opening the process to have other people to use our themes, as well as using the Flux theme, via Antinomie – with heavy redesigning. The Flux theme is a brand new revision to Crystalline, but will be developed seperately – and will too also be not developed further for the year.
Anyway, back to the blog; the Reawaken Media blog will expand by allowing us to post future updates, news and featured content from the blogs. Also, it will provide a place of ranting, and other things, from not only our executive team, but also from the people who help around and work on several things.
Also, this is part of our wider expansion into 2009, but I’ll speak more about that soon.
